Please add to that list "apparent glorification in the first 15% of the thing does not constitute real glorification if the remaining 85% is dedicated to suffering the consequences, deconstructing the damage and changing ways" because some people around here don't understand how the three act structure works.

some bands require nuance however. while it would be wonderful to have a lizard wizard in my house my doors are never open to royalty so i do not want to see king gizzard. similarly i would love to have a few gecs in my home maybe a dozen. but 100 is just too many
they might be giants? well. i have to say 'no' just in case they are. bc there wouldn't be enough room. maybe this wouldn't have been a problem if they were more clear about their giant status :|
I mean, treating yaoi as the opposite of yuri just doesn't make sense mathematically: boys are not the inverse of girls. The actual opposite of yuri would somehow have to involve fewer than zero girls, and that's not an easy thing to characterise.
It has been proposed in the notes that shonen anime, Hideo Kojima games, and police procedurals where all the women die by the end satisfy the criterion of having fewer than zero girls in various ways.
Identifying the common thread of these proposals, we may thus conclude that the opposite of yuri is Supernatural.
